While there’s been quite a bit of controversy surrounding Duck Dynasty, a new kind of fur is flying and the Robertson’s home – that of a new puppy!
Jep Robertson, son of patriarch Phil, and his wife Jessica have added a new furry member to A&E’s infamous family. Will Gizmo appear on screen, or will he be temporarily sidelined with Grandpa Phil?
Either way, Jep and Jessica’s 11-year old daughter, Lily, looks to be really enjoy her new best friend.

says:I think it is awesome to adopt a dog. I rescued a dog 5 years ago and I enjoy him every day

says:Oy vay. So much tude people!!! I was just wondering what happened to the three cats Jessica took off of Phil and Kay’s hands in that one episode. The one on Phil’s lap sure wanted to stay. The other two just needed good homes where they would receive lots of patience and TLC. Cats come around eventually when they are treated right. I’m glad they didn’t turn them into TV cats. My best to the Robertson clan.

says:Why can’t people mind their own business…and just enjoy the picture of the dog with his new family….why does everything have to be about what they perceive as being right or wrong…that is what is wrong with this world now..you know the old saying don’t throw rocks if YOU live in a glass house….just we happy for them and the dog…
Linda
I’ve been a very sound and voiceous supported of the Robertersons. I sure hope and pray I still can. However of that dog was brought and not adopted I’m afraid my support will crease to end.
Don’t shop………..adopt.
Does it really matter if the dog was purchased or adopted. She has a new home and is bringing love and compassion to the little girl. At least it has a good home and a family that will love and cherish her.
Fred
says:Yes it does matter! Purchasing a dog at a pet store supports puppy mills. There is also the problem of “Back Yard Breeders”. There is MUCH more at stake than this one puppy. The fact that it is on TV will promote whichever action was taken. The best way to stop the dogs abused when forced to have puppies for sale is to not buy them.

says:So, the dogs in stores or wherever don’t have the right to a good home? I understand the point of view, but the dogs don’t have a choice where they are born.
Scooby Doo
says:Hmmm… unbelievable. You can’t just be happy for the new pup and the Robertson family? I would hope my friends won’t “crease” to end our friendship if I happen to do something they don’t agree with. I don’t support puppy mills or irresponsible breeding, but take your judgmental crap down a notch, would ya?
